Oh, do you not know how to use the tools? Or do you just need to practice more? It's okay because Paint Tool SAI was pretty confusing in the beginning, took me a good 2 weeks to actually figure it out and start using it. Also if you have a tablet it makes things a lot easier as well! ^^

I think it's both
I have a tablet and I also watch tutorials from time to time but everyone uses a different tool for example for the hair, so this is pretty confusing sometimes...
