I don’t understand why the Creator of the universe would suffer and die the most painful death imaginable, and then raise from the dead three days later, all so He could pay the price for my sins. Why? Because He wants me to spend eternity with Him.Eternity.
Me.
I just don’t understand how someone could love me that much, but he does…
I hope you had a Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you’ve experienced the love I’ve found in Christ. It is beautiful, and there is nothing like it.

I really like this drawing. I'm actually not religious, but this picture speaks to me anyway. It captures the feeling of being protected, loved and guided so well. I think it captures something people can relate to, religious or not. I remember this feeling from childhood, from having a safe parent to lean on, some find it in religion. It's a good feeling, either way.

I think they must have thought I was famous or something... Which, they couldn't be more wrong! Hahaha!
Oh, that is sad... I almost gave up on God a few times myself. It actually took me a while to realize that my faith was in God, not in the people who were constantly being hypocritical... Though they can be a downer. So I left that church and found another one--one that was honest and genuine. They can be hard to come by, though.

For my sister and I it was more we had trouble wrapping our heads around the whole story in the Bible, and just believing in someone there. It didn't make "sense", but people were always trying to force it like it did, which only made us believe it less. I do respect religions, though, and am actually quite fascinated by them sometimes. I just can't believe in one myself.
I spent my Easter alone in the house.
