Inktober day 10 - FlowingOtters swim gracefully and can stay more or less eight minutes underwater ! But currently they are in a precarious state in the wild, contaminated waters and the growing lack of fishes are not helping...

Hello,
I am from I saw this in the Project Comment folder and it caught my attention pretty quick.
I am glad I saw this, I think it is really well done and well, really cute. First off, I just want to say you did a really nice job with the tones of the fur. It looks like the light is bouncing of the fur in the water. The little air bubbles escaping from the fur under water, it's a really nice detail that you added. It definitely adds a sense of motion and direction.
The way you used ink for the tonal changes and the value in shadow differences, comes a cross very fluid and flows along with the water. Not sure if that was the intention or coincidence but, it come together very well. I believe the title of this drawing fits very well and definitely, captures the nature of the drawing. Speaking of nature, I think this images captures the playful and curious nature of the sea otter quite well. The look on it's face seems like it's playing and showing off, pretty much what otters do best.
One thing that I had a hard time figuring out was his one paw by his face. It took me some time to figure out that was the pad of it's paw facing the viewer. I also needed a moment to realize that the spot between the hind legs was a bubble cluster and not fur. I don't know if I am the only viewer that had a little trouble identifying the paw or bubble patch but, I thought it might be good to mention it. It could also just be me, I do have vision issues
But, like I said, I think this is a really cute and fun piece and I think that overall, you did a really nice job with it and I think that you did otters justice with your depiction of them. I noticed that you had labeled this as an Inktober drawing. Good luck with the rest of your Inktober drawings and Happy Inking!

I figure out there are some mistakes and at first i didn't think to draw the bubbles. It came afterwards 
Now it's almost the end i realise that Inktober is a good exercise, it helps to be fast ans steady every day, i truly have fun doing it this year !

I love this overall this is a wonderful piece. You’re really captured the playful nature of the river otter. The detail on the river otter is nice, I particularly enjoy the hatch work that you did for the fur detailing. I like how you did the shading and lightning. How you did the bubbles is a really nice affect as well. I think the fact that the river otter is my favorite animal and going to the zoo makes me have a soft spot for this piece. It made me remember all the fun times I had to going to the zoo with my family and friends would always make sure to stop and visit the otters. If I had one negative thing to say is that the large bubble is kind of in a suggestive spot, but maybe that’s just where the Internet has corrected me. Overall I really enjoyed this piece definitely keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
