Hello, I'm here from and I'll be giving it my all to give a helpful critique! I hope that this ends up being useful for you!
Anyway, I'll get this out of the way really quick: I'm trying SO HARD not to descend into squeeing, keyboard mashing, and screaming about how cute these are. Like, all my self-restraint is being used here. This isn't really the substantive part of my critique, but seriously, these little critters are cute. And generally when a picture of an animal like a ferret turns out cute, it's a sign you're doing it right, right?
Now, I'll be honest and say I know approximately jack about ferret anatomy, but I like how the proportions seem to match up nicely, and the spine has a very delightful curve at all times that gives these little fur tubes a constant sense of motion, excitement, and energy. I like the use of color and texture on the fur to make it look very lively and give it a sense of depth, even at a very rough stage. I personally love the top sketch on the left, as I like the sense of depth as well as just how cute the pose is! Seriously, these are a damned good set of sketch dumps! A quick question: what references did you use? I wanna learn how to draw animals at some point myself, and these seem like some cute references.
As for the part where I actually do the critical part of the critique, the only thing I really have to say is that the first rough sketches (the black and white ones) look just a little flat. This mostly applies to the bottom left. I know it's more of a painting sketch, but I would suggest drawing through the form. Your work seems to indicate that you've had formal training (although feel free to let me know if I'm wrong) so I'm going to take a wild guess and say you know what that means. Just in case, however, I mean to draw the 3D form like you would in a math book, sort of-- drawing the lines that couldn't actually be seen, to give a sense of depth and better indicate where to shade. I was taught to always, always draw it, to help with perspective and stuff.
Overall though, you're definitely better than me! Hahaha... >>; I have the knowledge, but like hell do I have the experience. Keep up the good work! I'd honestly watch you just to see many many pictures of ferrets, not gonna lie.

Ah they're so precious, you drew them so perfectly! My favourite would be the one on the right with the blue hue. It's adorable.

Great work!
I like the style of the right one in grey.
Any chance to pay a few dollars/euros for a custom art for an avatar for gaming?
greetings

oh my goodness, I never thought I would see someone making such gorgeous artwork of ferrets! It's now made me think about possibly commissioning you - or someone - in the future about making a painting of my three girls. ;u;
so lovely!
