Having another costume design moment - the victim this time is Lucy Savoie, my Yu-Gi-Oh character.
Domino High Uniform: Bog standard Domino High girls uniform. No enhancements, no personal adaptations, just the same pink blazer that Lucy hates because it is almost the same colour as her hair. >.<

Pyjamas: I have a thing for polka dots at the moment, and as such so does Lucy. Btw, for anyone who gets the referance; her shirt reads - "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" Yep, she's a Firefly fangirl. ^^ >> [link]

Duelist Kingdom: One of my favourite designs since it was one of the first I ever pictured her in. A pretty simple design in the end but I like it - it's the first time anyone sees her dressed casually outside of school. Pixie boots ftw.

Virtual World 1: Babydoll (Sucker Punch) inspired design, with a bit of a twist of my own adding in the patterned tights and heavy duty boots (ah me and my boots, someone shoot me >.<). I wanted her style to border almost on cute during the first few arcs, and then slowly progress to becoming more mature.

Virtual World 2 (Legendary Heroes Arc): This one was both my favourite to design, and the bane of my existence to draw neatly with all that lace. Since Yugi and Mai were dressed as in mediaeval armour, and for some reason Joey got stuck dressed as a caveman *quietly giggle to myself*, I guess that the concept of time didn't apply in this arc - so I put Lucy in a French Chevalier inspired costume (complete with a rapier which I neglected to draw). She's a fencer in real life, so why not?

Dungeon Dice Monsters: This one developed through a series of other designs. The fun fact behind it is I wanted Lucy to look a bit like she'd just been yanked forcefully out of her house on a weekend when she would have rather been loafing around watching tv...because that's exactly what happened. Also the first appearance of her trademark teddybear earrings which were a gift from her mother.

Battle City: Her outfit for almost the entire Battle City arc. I wanted her to look slightly more grown up during that time, but still keep her faintly cute style. Also thought I'd throw some green into her wardrobe for good measure, it looks interesting against her pink hair.

Virtual World 3: Worn during her second visit to the virtual world. Nothing special, I just love polka dots on this girl. <3

Waitress Uniform: The first time you get to see the tattoo on her ankle clearly. Can ya see it? This outfit is usually only worn when she's at work at the coffee shop where she works as a waitress - just add an apron and a tray and you're done.
