While in La Jolla, after touring the UCSD campus, we decided to drive around, since it's right on the edge of the ocean. Every time there was a place to stop with a view of the ocean, parking was all full. So my mom decided to turn down a random street, and we then came upon this relatively vacant area. The water was gorgeous, and there were all these interesting rock formations and tide pools. Man, that was the coolest beach I've ever seen. And so few people!
