well, these aren't really sketches. not all of 'em :'DI recently watched Lawrence of Arabia and had to draw Law and Sherif Ali! they're really interesting and fun to draw!
theeeen there's Hobbit pics and Bucky and some dudes I saw on the street (that was before Christmas, some of this stuff is really old, haha)
I was told they looked like a Vampire and an Adventurer and I really liked that idea!

I need more cute Thorin and Bilbo things in my life and I wish I had more time to draw Vampire and Adventurer more often and develope an actual story for them! I just find so many things I want to draw every day and it's so hard to bring all these ideas to paper without neglecting school and other projects DDD':

True, they are all so adorable. Balin, Dwalin, Bofur and Thorin are my favourites tho. Maybe because I like those actors best. I watched the hell out of all the extras during my Christmas break

I still haven't seen all the extras. just the movie blog they had for the first movie (I guess there's video blogs for the other two movies aswell but I still have to check those out!!) ooohhhhhh Dwalin and Bofur are my faves too! and Thorin, of course, and I also like Fili and Ori a lot (:
I didn't know any of the dwarf actors befor the movies came out (only the one who should've played Fili in the first place but had to leave the team due to personal things) but I think they made great choices with the cast!

The extras make me so happy. I think there was one day where we watched them for six hours straight. I didn't know any of the actors either, but they are so much fun (a little modesty wouldn't arm Dean and Aidan tho ;D) I think it's good they picked people who weren't already famous. I love all the different accents, especially Gloin's Scottish accent, it cracks me up whenever he speaks. Oh yes, Ori is cute, I want to wrap him in a blanket and feed him cake. Oh and sorry for spamming your sketchdump with my ranting D:

alright, I reaaally need to watch all the extras I can find online! I've seen so many gifs on tumblr and everytime one of them is on my dash I'm like "yeah man, I'll watch all the videos rrrright now!" but somehow I get distracted and don't do it x'DDD
I really like that all the actors get along so well together! and you're right about the not-so-famous actors! I think it's way better to have actors you don't know play a certain character because otherwise you focus more on the actor than on the character they're playing. I sometimes had that problem with Martin Freeman cause I knew him as John Watson and Lester Nygaard from Fargo. the way he played Bilbo was also pretty similar to his role from Fargo sometimes :'D
I wish I could've seen the movies with the original audio. I only watched the german version (which was pretty good actually, I've heard worse translations, haha). I knew they had english versions of the Hobbit movies in some theatres but I couldn't manage to get there. so I'll have to wait till I get the DVDs to enjoy all their funny accents!
(it would be so much better if Germany did the same thing as the Netherlands and just added subtitles to every english movie or show)
Ori is super adorable. he's such a nice guy. all the movies I was just like 'please don't get hurt' xDDD

Oh yeah, you have dubbed movies :/ I actually thought Martin did a good job playing Bilbo because he somehow changes his voice so that it is different from Watson's (Haven't seen Fargo yet, but want to!). You can't hear that because of the dubbing, of course. But yeah, if you're watching an actor a lot, like Martin, you're going to notice they have a couple of tricks they keep using, like facial expressions and intonation and stuff like that... But hey, that also means you didn't get to hear Benedict

yeah, the dubbed version wasn't that bad, at least they gave everyone a proper voice. I loved the german Smaug but I'm eager to hear Benedict as Smaug! and they also found a fitting voice for Bilbo. not the one he had in Sherlock, which was pretty high pitched and seemed way too young for his character :'D
I think that there's a lot of similarities between Martin's character in Fargo and the Hobbit just considering his movement and expressions. he does that little twitching smile or wrinkles his nose and just stares into the distance in that certain way. but I think if I'd seen the original version, not the dubbed movie, I'd noticed a bigger difference between the two characters. cause in Fargo he had this certain way of speaking, or better, stuttering. he couldn't even manage to speak one whole sentence at the beginning of the show and I think it's a whole different in The Hobbit.
uuuhhh what else did I want to say ...? ah yes, I don't think he's just re-acting another character but Bilbo and Lester are just pretty alike and Martin's a really talented actor. I love what he does : D
