Please view with the red and blue 3D glasses.Downshift was the first Transformer character I ever made into a 3-D image. I decided it was time to revisit this concept.

How did you make it 3D? What program did you use?

I did it in Photoshop. Took 2 side by side images and merged them to form the anaglyph effect.

There is a single image method but it doesn't yield the same results. And quite frankly it's a lot more involved and not something I'm interested in learning.

Not really. I do them in Photoshop via layering. I learned the trick via an online tutorial site. It requires taking 2 pics, side-by-side, then superimposing them and changing color layers.
