As I've said before, I think the size and shape of the painting should match the idea behind it. This is a small, simple idea, and fits quite well in this size of painting. I like painting small. For one thing it suits my rather limited attention span. And I can try things without risking devoting a great deal of time to things that don't work out. Actually, I do some of my best work in small paintings. So all I can say is that if you think it's too small, you're standing too far away.
