I was just thinking about this shot earlier. I love Audrey, and I noticed every picture in her port is very bright and pink except yours. You took the attention away from her hair and put it on the model.

I think I now realize, why I like your art so much is because you take things that are beautiful and not only capture them in ways that the average human eye would never look at them, but you capture them with such brilliance that what was once beautiful then becomes godly.
For that, I applaud you infinitely.

Beautifully done - it's full of personality while being very aesthetically pleasing at the same time.
I enjoy the plastic - it gives the photo a nice effect and anyway, it's always nice to see photographers being innovative with their surroundings, as you always seem to be.

I don't like her. I like what you did but in my opinion she's just... not it. I mean it's one thing to shoot a wonderful photograph but if the photograph is of something you don't like, you're bound to not like it.
Yes, indeed, I'm saying I don't like this. It's a nice effect but it doesn't flatter her, I don't like the allwhiteness behind her. I wouldn't mind looking at an Audrey picture shot by you if only it would have more contrast and something nice to focus on [instead of her face].
What I do know, though, is that this is totally different from what I normally see of her [lots of colours, lots of props, toys, weird faces] so that's a plus I can give you, it's different and perhaps better than anything I've seen from her so far.

That seemed uncalled for. The whiteness comment's constructive -- how is that? Whether or not you like an artist's subject isn't their fault, nor the subject's. It's not a photographer's job to choose models who are somehow magically attractive to everyone.

I already explained I just don't like her. Her facial expression is always the same so no matter who takes the photograph I already know what it looks like. That's why I said it would have been different if the focus wasn't on her face. Maybe I should have elaborated. Maybe I should've said "but it'd be okay to focus on her face if it wasn't just the same all the time" or "if she made a nice expression". I really do not like the expression on her face.
Of course there are people who are going to like it, and people who aren't, just like people are going to like the model and others aren't, but the thing is - that's not what I said. I was discussing the focus of the photograph. How would you have taken my comment if I had never said I don't like the girl?

Okay, point taken. I guess my problem was just that you seemed to be criticizing the photograph when in fact you were criticizing the model -- that it's more about her expression than any real flaw in the focus. I probably wouldn't have said anything if you had pointed out that her expression itself bothered you.
