Description
Attempted to do a flat looking peace. Her design is actually based on a character I've developed. As the title says the clothing etc. is from the Heian era of Japan's history. I just outlined the skin and eyes in black. The rest is in colour outline and then coloured. Used a kimono pattern and did many things with the layer properties to make it look faint. The background is a cut from many of the photos of cherry groves that I found through google. I just blurred it countless times to make it hazy. This is more of an experiment for technique than an attempt to create a masterpiece. I'll try to spend some more time for projects in the future.
