finally it's finished! yay!

i've been so crazy excited about this piece, just because i absolutely adore 's character Azrael, and i've been dying to revamp my long-neglected character René. ugh they're both so awesome, and strangely alike lol This illustration was partly to show how similar they are, but also to accentuate their differences as I see them... although Kay may have a different opinion

Azrael (left) belongs to . She's a powerful succubus-type demoness with a multitude of badass tattoos that bind her to her master. I envision that she relies more on her supernatural powers than pure brute strength, so she can afford to be more slender than René. Azrael's also a bit more on the violet end of the red hue spectrum, and looks excellent in blues and purples She carries the staff from this illustration: [link] (btw i'm totally taking liberties with the tats and everything)

René (right) belongs to me. She's a fiery fox-type demoness, wanderer by day and thief by night. She's more dependent on physical abilities than Azrael, so her body is more muscular. René's tattoos signify her status as a traveling warrior, and her tail helps with balance. Her spear, as well as daytime and nighttime colors, can be seen here: [link]

what i love most about both ladies is that they're strong and independent, they do bad things, but at the core they're good.
