I also happen to agree with Paradigm-Shifting above about the modern church being the ones Jesus warned people about.Β He hated legalism, that much is evident in the things he said.Β Some of my favorite verses, even back when I was a hard-core Fundie Baptist, were the ones where Jesus told people to pray in their closet where no one else could hear you; to not let your left hand know how much money your right hand is giving in alms.Β The loudmouth Christians of this day and age are just like the people Jesus condemned: they're doing it all for the approval of others.Β Their faith is about as real as the "rich oak finish" on a cheap desk made out of particle board.

I am Gnostic Christian and I feel that todays modern church is the same assholes that Jesus warned us about. The scribes and the Pharisees. The spinners of truth and speakers of lies. The ones he said to be very wary of. So I do not get along with most of my fellow Christians. They think I'm going to burn in hell for holding my dick imperfectly when I piss. hahaha. Okay, that was an exaggeration. But still. They can get very creepy. But hey its like Jesus said:Β they do not know what they do!

Heard this word before. Yesterday I met a friend, she is lesbian and lives with another girl together, about four years now! Everything is fine, except a christian woman, we both knew, she had problems with THEIR relationsship, what a suprise! What does that matter to her? She tried to convince them, that they're doing a wrong thing, no matter if they're happy together or not!
