Description holy crap who knew i could paint feathers? (i didn't)

This was really just a sketch last night and i thought i would take a stab at painting it today. I ended up killing a crap load of time today (that didnt need to be dead) but I totally lost track of time, LOL

just, WOW. I am so pleased with this! I cant believe it turned out so well!

new paper! (cheap paper) but it has very little texture and hardly warps at all. down sides, its hard to keep wet and my tape tears it easily. but hey, 30 12x18' pages for $20? cant pass that up. I can work with cheap paper >.>;
