haha good deal my friend, yes, in the complicated land of sureal symbology and paint, ,I guess to "sort of grasp the Idea" of a man's work is a bit of an endevour. Surrealism has always been one of my favorite forms... not so much for the heart as with expressionism, and not entirely as cerebral as a good abstract, but a delighteful mix of chaos and order, reality and non... your work really speaks to me... your title also, Liquid Clouds, I do alot of writing and I like to refer to them as Continents of Cloud, they're as vast as the moon, roaming buffalos of airborne ocean... but no one really seems to care... I look out at the moon... see this impossibly vast sphere of white stone spinning in a cosmic sea... and no one things its magick.
your work really sort of ties in the mystery and the magic of the moment... but how I see your work... is sort of like it represents the end of it all, where we are headed in our current mind state... the deep shading and controlled lighting... really reminds me of the dreams I used to have as a wer lad... before the magick was stripped from my reality sort of thing... but when I used to dream I used to dream of a higher way, a more complete presence... your painting remind me of those dreams, but of a little sleeping boy in a dark corner dreaming of the neodestructionism that lies at the end of this human road, less we get out of our cars and walk the senic route... not sure if any of that made the right kind of sense to you, Im a bit caffinated at the moment. *jitter jitter jitter*
but I see you have had a rather extensive showing, and I was wondering, as Im just really finding my painting wings, how you went about getting your exhibit, how does one take the cluttered works from off his wall and placec them in a placee to be seen and shown and sold? little help would be keen.
Anyway, the style and energy of your paintings really reminds me of my painting Portrait of the Nation, and the painting Ragnarok which is on the back of Portrait, not so much in your styl, thouogh some of Portraits details remind me of the last painting of yours I commented on, the finger pointing at the mooness of it seems to be in key with your own.
any who, keep up the good work, maybe they'll name a school after you one day. #

Oh, elegant.
A question... how one manages to paint on black? I mean... I tried to paint a little and one thing I noticed is that the only color that can be seen on a dark background is white. The other colors simply don't leave a trace. The only thing I can do is to put a white background on the black one in the areas where I want to paint something in the "foreground". Uff... I should get a manual or something.
