Had this done awhile back, but had waayyy too many Christmas cards I needed to make and mail. (sorry for not uploading those it would take way too long to take photos and edit them). The name for this portrait is based off the Redwall series that I adore, specifically the "The Outcast of Redwall" in the book the main characters is a badger named Sunflash with a particular yellow stripe on his forehead and his falcon friend Skarlarth. I had just finished the book (for the 10th time) when I saw this gorgeous picture ravenofthenight.deviantart.com… by ~ravenofthenight , and I just had to draw it! It was just too amusing to see a falcon with such an interesting streak of sun colored feathers after such a tale.
