I LOVE this work ( WoW folder in Fav's and Clearing House group once I have featured it) BUT I will disagree on one small item.
The Title.
I say this for a reason that's personal in nature. You see I was Adopted when I was 9 months old.
My parents never hid that fact from me and even went so far as to tell me that if I ever wished to find my Bio parents they would understand and help.
I felt then and to this day, 50 years later that I had the best most loving parents any child could ever ask for ( and as a child made a promise on that love for them only to myself that I wanted and needed no other parents even after my mom died from cancer when I was 13 and my dad a few years later) and in my head I have separated the two classifications.
To me any guy can "father" a child just as any "mother" can birth one...
But to be that special person in any child's heart forever they are not a "Mother" or "Father" but a Mommy and a Daddy
I had a Mommy AND a Daddy and they will forever remain in my life and heart.
So, in short, to me this is not " A fathers love " This is " A Daddy's Love. "
Eric

Hi Eric, thank you so much for your comment. I understand what you mean with the title, but for how I meant it father and daddy are one person. I'm from Holland and therefore I don't really 'feel' the difference between the words as a native speaking English person maybe does. So please don't read the title in the way that only a father or a mother can love his/her real child, but just the love for 'a' child, no matter the relationship with the child.Β

Oh I'm not nor am I being or attempting to be critical at all.Β
I "understand" the meaning behind the artwork vs any title you may have called it.
I also understand that there are vast differences between languages ( I haven't spoken dutch since I was a child but still remember that little poem I was toldΒ about the little dog. Translated into English it is " There was a little dog. That I went to see. he barked and barked and barked but he did not bite me. Bark, Bark, Bark.' ) and what words mean to different people.
The bottom line always in such works like yours and in life comes down to the love always and forver.
That in my mind is the real and only meaning of and to life.

It is one that my great great grandmother Vanderlaan taught me when I was.... about 3ishΒ ( long time ago!) and my great grandmother Cole made sure I remembered it till she died also. and after that her daughter my grandmother Albright would quiz me on it upon occasion. Sorta funny too That from what I was told as a child there some royal Dutch link to the throne thru my great great grandparents. but that was either fiction or something too far in the past to remember ( and wouldn't effect me anyways since I was adopted.)Β I COULD try and type it but I really doubt I could get the spelling right.. (Β ok I'll try but understand my spelling if more phonic than prolly the way it is supposed to be. " Der was ein kleinamuppia ver Idom und to sea. err bromttia allan doken but er bate me bophne. wafoof, wafoof, wafoof " )

I'll take your word for it. my read/write of your language ( as you could tell ) is terrible. However , again, it has been almost 4 decades since i was able to speak it.. and about 2 decades since I was able to speak German also. So I am sorry to say i am VERY rusty indeed.

Don't worry! Are you born in Holland and then moved to the US?Β

No. I am half Huron tribe and half Ottawa tribe and was born right here on the land my ancestors have lived on for over 4,000 years. however i was adopted at 9 months by my mom and dad and my dad descends from the Von Huffman in Prussia and my mom from dutch ancestry
