I had a lovely fellow named Michael Darnell came by the booth at Renfest dressed as an elven archer, and as he was so perfect in the role, I had to capture him. Since then this picture has been featured in The Chronicles of Ramlar RPG, and will be in an upcoming DragonLance RPG book.Related content

The wrinkles in his clothes are really amazing. The details in the tree are great too.

I love the action in this piece, so often artists will go for a static pose. BUt the viewer really feels like they have jsut stumbled into another world here and caught the character in the act "So to speak"
