After getting a massive concussion, Alexis awakens in her bedroom, feeling nauseous and ill-tempered.

"G-gah.... My h-head...." Alexis weakly spoke.

Her head was killing her, it felt like it was about to explode any second. It took a little bit for her to realize that she is still seeping black liquid out of her ears and eyes. Her eyes were no longer enveloped in the painfully disgusting liquid that had burned her cornea the moment it started to surround it. She tried to sit up, but was taken back as a sudden aching pain from her back came fast. She feels absolutely miserable.

However, she wasn't going to back down that easily.
She was getting tired of this pain, she needs to get help right away... and that involves overcoming this torturous pain. Even after passing out and luckily passing the time she could have spent in agony while concious, it felt like the pain never subsided in the slightest bit. She has to overcome the same pain as before. Just plus extra back pain.

She slooooooowly started to make her way up to JUST sit up on her bed. It was like... the pain of moving a limb that had been twisted to the opposite direction. As soon as she successfully sits up, She started to look around her room in hopes of catching a glimpse of SOMEBODY.

ANYBODY
BUT ARTEMIS.

And sure enough, she did. Right outside her door, that was barely open, she sees a person with a purple gown, beautiful silky hair, and emerald green eyes. Just the absolutely RIGHT PERSON she was hoping to see.
"Lucille! Lucille!" She shouted with all that is left of her strength.
The motherly figure, hearing her "daughter"'s plead for help, turns to her door, and rushes in the room.

"My dear, you're awake! Oh thank goodness...!" Lucille quickly ran to Alexis and gave her the most heartwarming and comforting hug she could ever give. Alexis, finally feeling the comfort and love she was hoping to get after this horrible event, shed a tear as she feels save in Lucille's arms. She began to sob..

"Alexis, i'm here.. Sshhh, i'm right here, she's not here..." Lucille tries to comfort her as much as possible, trying to help her stop crying, while giving the gentlest head pats and back rubs. She lets go to kneel down, letting her see her face. She kept a hand on her shoulder, to remind Alexis that she was indeed real. She was there in front of her.
"See, dear? i'm right here. I'm not going anywhere.."

"....M-mom...?"
That word was so endearing, Lucille started to tear up as well.
"Y-yes, i'm here.. Are you alright..?"

"M-momma.... I don't feel any good..." Alexis looked down at her hands, they were still covered in the black liquid, though not as much as before. "W-what is this, mom..?"

"Artemis knows what it is... I don't even know." Lucille speaks in a somewhat angry tone, she has always hated mentioning the Queen's name.
"W-what happened? How did i.. End up here?" Alexis curiously asked, she only remembered she was on the pinnacle of the castle, with Artemis.

"As soon as she left the top, i rushed to the pinnacle. I was anxious and waiting the whole time, and then i found you. Unconcious on the floor, surrounded in that... Scalding hot liquid that was secreting from you. It took me so long to get you out of your own self-defense method.-"

"Self-defense?" She cuts her off all of a sudden.
"Alexis... What did i told you about cutting people off?" Lucille gave her an unamused look, Lucille was definitely irritated. "O-oops... Sorry.." Alexis looks away, shy and ashamed.

"Well... Anyways.. I'll explain things when you get better. In the mean time, you need to go back to sleep." Lucille stood up, looking down on her. She wanted her to get better, even if it means cutting the mother-and-daughter time shorter. "But I wanna stay awake!" Alexis cried out.
"Alexis.." Lucille sighed.

"I wanna be awake with you, momma... i don't wanna go to sleep yet!" Alexis gave her the puppy eyes.
Lucille was honestly really reluctant of keeping Alexis awake, but at the same time.. She REALLY wanted to spend time with her as well. She felt so bad for the times she couldn't spend time with her, even though it was just about 10 freakin' seconds.

She was really making a tough decision. And then..

"........Ah, fine. If it's what you want, then.. Right. As you wish, mistress." Lucille spoke in a more lighthearted tone.
"Mooooom! I told you not to call me that!" Alexis pouted, she always hated to be called anything formal. "Mistress", "Princess", all that sort of thing. Lucille chuckled, seeing how she's actually in a better condition, mentally at least. Maybe not physically, but she knows things will get better atleast.

"Okay, really, you NEED to go to sleep, honey." Lucille suddenly shifted. Alexis was caught off guard by this. "W-what? That was outta the blue!" Alexis was legitimately confused.
"True, hah." Lucille then gave her a serious expression, giving her the impression that she was totally serious this time. She REALLY wanted her to sleep.
"Aww.... Bleh, fine..." She became a little bit upset. Lucille suddenly felt guilty. She then kneels down.

"Look, i know you want to spend time with me dear, but you won't feel any better if you're gonna stay awake. You're gonna make Lucy sad if you don't get any better."
Lucille was definitely determined to make her recover from all this.

Alexis suddenly feels really nauseous than before. Her ears started ringing, as if she's about to pass out. Images started to flash fot a split second. She tries to ask her one more thing.
"B-but.... Will i r-really feel alright?"

Lucille then gives her a very comforting smile, before standing up again.
She then feels a hand on her head, a gentle head pat.

"Y o u ' r e g o n n a b e a l r i g h t . "

Alexis was startled by this... Sudden voice shift. It was distorted, but she can tell it IS Lucille's voice.
She reluctantly decided to try to slowly look up to see her. She wanted to see her "mother"'s face again before she goes back to sleep...
