“Of course I don’t,” said Dumbledore. “And I don’t think for a moment you expected me to. Nevertheless, you came here, you asked, you must have had a purpose.”
Voldemort stood up. He looked less like Tom Riddle than ever, his features thick with rage. “This is your final word?”
“It is,” said Dumbledore, also standing.
“Then we have nothing more to say to each other.”
“No, nothing,” said Dumbledore, and a great sadness filled his face. “The time is long gone when I could frighten you with a burning wardrobe and force you to make repayment for your crimes. But I wish I could, Tom… I wish I could…”

I totally forgot about this scene until I read HBP last week. How could I have forgotten about this?! I guess, back when I was 12 and I read it for the first time, it didn’t have a big impact on me, or when I last read it when I was about 15. But now that I’ve read it again, it has. The scene kind of scares me picturing Tom Riddles transformation to his appearance changing into the facial features he has as Lord Voldemort. He must have made at least one horcrux because he had more snakish eyes, his nose was disappearing and he must have looked not-human, walking into Dumbledores office. I was surprised that Dumbledore didn’t show any hint of surprise to see how he had changed.
Also, this must have been the last time that someone could ‘talk’ to Tom Riddle and he was still the student talking to the teacher. After this conversation, I don’t think that anyone could sit down with him like this, without being tortured or murdered. After this he definitely became You-Know-Who, who everyone feared.
The fact that I’d forgotten this scene is also because I’ve never heard/seen it anywhere in the last five years. It wasn’t in the movies, sadly, because it would’ve been shocking to see Voldemort like that. I went looking on Deviant Art and I only saw ONE drawing of this. That’s very little, considering the importance of this scene. (If you want to know why it's so important: go and read the book )

Aaaanyway, I'm talking way to much. I just had to draw this scene. It was very difficult, because I’ve never drawn such an old person as Dumby before, and definitely not the half-human-snake person that is Voldy.
