What's your favorite type of weapon for a female warrior?

Honestly, any weapon works for any gender.
I Think it is more the "class" of warrior that tends to decide what weapons works best for a warrior.
For example, it would be pretty weird to see a viking, male or female, with a pair of nunchuks or a sai instead of the more Classic sword, shield, hammer and axe.

But I guess it's also pretty rare to see a female warrior with certain types of weapons, At least in fighting games. Like a weapon that doubles her body size, I don't know like a huge ball and chain or something. One of the characters that comes to mind is Astaroth and its huge axe : Link
Or course everything is possible in animes and fiction. Because you could also have super strength or a giant woman in that role XD

To be fair, if you search enough in fiction, you will eventually come across ladies who wield weapons the size of the Eifel Tower.

I guess you have a point. Possibilities are endless when it comes to fiction, but you would always come across to someone who would question how "X" character being so small is able to handle a tank sized rifle (regardless gender or age)
I guess it gives the chance to play with all sorts of outcomes, and play with the expectations. Have a small character play and move like a heavyweight because of its weapon choice.

XD yeah, that's what I mean, fiction. But if you go with a more realistic approach, even really build men would have troubles to handle weapons like that. So I guess It's less about gender and more about physical strength that plays a factor for the type of weapons you would be able to master, if you don't choose to completely ignore it and fight with a Dubai building size sword.
It's more or less the kind of tropes you're used to see, like bow and arrows and light weapons. Maybe I haven't played enough games with girls and weapons, because I'm using Soul Calibur as a reference point, and that might be and old and non-valid example these days. Not to mention I haven't played a single fantasy MMO or anything similar before.
