That's odd. It should just open them. I assume you've opened the extracted files (the pmd ones).
Maybe it has something to do with the version of MMD you have, possibly the older one won't open them.
If not, I'm sorry, but I don't know what's wrong.

Okay, I was SUPER bummed when I found out there wasn't already a Gumi model on MMD, so I've been searching for a Gumi model for a while now. I went on the site with that link though... and even if I've downloaded the stuff, it won't let me actually use it on MMD. WTF?! Help, pwease?

If you downloaded the rar/zip (Don't remember which of them it was again) You can open them in winrar, and extract them. If you did, you can use them ^^
