A very awesome guy from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, if you have played it and beaten it then you'll understand what I am talking about. If not, then do yourself a favor and buy the damn game (or youtube it). You are missing out on the most epic and over-the-top action game of this year.Anyways, I was practicing people portraits last night, because I feel like I don't do them enough, and then he somehow made his way onto my paper. I liked how it turned out so I did a little bit of photoshop work to finish it up. Raiden will probably be next, along with some other crazy quote.
God I love that game.
And remember, Don't fuck with this Senator.

Totally. Honestly when I heard Donald Trump say "Make America great again", Senator Armstrong was the first person that came to mind. Ha ha.

I love him as a character but his fight on VH is absurd, hr spams the clothesline and grabs (mainly the near undodgable one) I prefer to fight him on hard to be honest

I struggled with this for a while, but given that his political ideals make no sense and he's the most alpha character ever created in a video game, he is my favorite villain. I'm not done with the game until I've beaten him without taking damage on very hard and Revengeance. So far it's my pick for game of the year.

One of the themes of Metal Gear Solid is how politicians use soldiers as expendable assets in the game of power. Incredibly, Senator Armstrong is the second politician to actually fight your player character in any of the games, after Solidus Snake/George Sears, even more incredible that he comes from the legislative(a Senator) rather than the executive branch of the government.

It's funny that you mentioned all that, because it just dawned on me that Raiden fought and killed both politicians. I don't know what it means in the scheme of everything, but it is interesting.

Now that mention it, you're right. Hopefully, he's not going down the path Big Boss did, even more unlikely since by Rising most countries scrapped their nuclear stockpiles.

Same here, I swear it had every one of my emotions going in the matter of 20 minutes. I was laughing my ass off at first and couldn't take the Senator seriously, and then the next minute he was kicking my ass and had me saying every swear word known to man. Fun times.

Yeah in my opinion they did the final boss fight right. You come into it hating his guts but then you end up liking the bastard even though he's pounding your face in the ground many many times over. xD And when you finally defeat him your like "My new favorite boss!"
