the use of colors really creates a warm atmosphere. I like the contrast of one side of the subject glowing along the wall and the other side being enveloped by shadow. The pose of the subject and the perspective really make this a good picture. Also, his leather jacket looks amazing...

I would of put somthing in one of the top thirds to draw your attention to other parts of the picture...a lamp post or somthing...maybe a little more expression on the face.
The leather jacket is amazing, and the color blend is very nice.

Nice atmosphere.
As advanced critique is encouraged, I should add that each individual piece of the painting is done with skill and precision, the whole doesn't fit together well. I'm not saying that the proportions are wrong but rather that the painting doesn't give off enough feeling because the detailis are overworked. I hope that came out right. This might be a personal preference because I don't like the face very much. Not very expressive and doesn't attract the attention that the jacket does.

wow... i like your technique of color... it definitelly gives the piece a mood and makes the eye go around and around... even if there is nothing in your top left corner... i still look there!
i like how they guy blends in with the rest, and the fabric is painted very well... i lovie fabric... hee hee
