Description She is so cute! And she took the worst pictures. I am still working on her wreath for her hair and maybe a floral belt....

Anyhow, she is hand sculpted from polymer clay from a lump of wood.
The legs were a challenge for me. Dusty pushed me out of my sculpting comfort zone. But the legs came out awesome.

I gave her little fawn spots. And she is painted in layers of different browns after the clay was lightly texturized. Then I flocked her in a light layer of white flocking. I'm not sure how it looks in the picture but it looks amazing in person. A really soft youthful fuzz.

Thanks. I find I focus a lot on the faces and so I was trying to do a good pose challenge. Her legs were really challenging to do anatomically correct. But I got her to stand on her own with out the help of a stand and she has a nice fluid pose to boot.
I was really pleased and I don't feel that way often.

I really need to figure out how to take better pictures. She is sooo cute. The flocking on her adds a real charm. But it isn't apparent in the photos.

I can see the flocking! I know how hard it is to get certain details so apparent in person to show up in an image. That is a challenging aspect for sculptors!

Seriously!!! I sculpted her bones because I couldn't get her legs right. and then I added large muscle groups and finally the overlay of "skin".

They came out so awesome. I sort of wish that I hadn't painted them. That I had just shaded them heavily and added faun spots and flocking. The flocking looks magical over her spots and skin.

I have a faery with some striped yellow stockings (shes in my gallery) and I removed her shorts, but had nothing to replace them! So now I am going to use flocking on her legs! I hope it works. I have a feeling she need a skirt or something... hmmm

Thank you! I'm so glad it shows. I sculpted the bones and then the muscle groups and then the over lay of skin. It took me forever to do the legs...I'm wondering if I should have just spotted them instead of painting them. It is kind of hard to work forever on something and then cover it up...
I might even make her wearing a dress but I don't think so...

The summer Oak Fairy,emily fae,cute lil fairy, and possibly oak fairy 10 not sure yet. I can use the Oak fairy 10 cause looks likke a different fairy from the close up and the other one sitting down so looks like 2 different ones I have the bg done I cant seem to get out of the forest idea. I am having fun doing the contest and so many wonderful entries to glad im not a judge would be so hard lol I love alot of them my self hehehe

It has really made me kind of envious with regard to your talent!!! I really wish I could do simple ps. Another deviant was trying to explain to me how easy it is to cut out the figure and I was like....what????

There is a lot of thing to do in PS some things are easily shown than to be told I so wish I was there to help you I could show you. It is easy to do but hard to explain in a note cause there is so much I wish I had unlimited long distance from canada to us then i could walk you through some steps argggeeeeeeeeeee

You take your lasso tool , trace around it and feather it by 2 depends on what u want in softness around the image. See this is actually a simple thing to do. But for beginning to understand the program it is easier to show i know it was hard to do at first for me but i had some help and mainly though i was doing it on my own

I usually don't talk on the phone. It's part of my appeal. hehe.
I have one to text, take drunken late night photos, check email and play on the internet. All on a phone that i dont talk on.....weird
