Seto and Ren from Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon~ I just really love this game~ It's been too long since I've drawn fan art of it~ So I drew chibis of these two cuties~ ^_^I tried out a "lineless" style here, I rather like the way it looks with the gradients! I drew them a bit differently that my usual chibi style, they ended up looking a bit like the Dream Selfy chibis~ Not really intentional, but still looks cute~ I simplified Seto's outfit because all that stuff he carries with him is a real pain to draw. I figured he'd be recognizable enough with just the blue coat and locket, anyway. Ren's weird hospital gown(?) is still confusing no matter how I tried to draw it though XD I like the way the flower in her hair looks~
I tried to make somewhat of an actual background this time XD. Though they're just standing out in a field or something at night >w> And of course, fireflies~ Because they're kind of important in the game~ >w<
Now, anyway, not a lot of people are familiar with Fragile Dreams. It's a rather obscure RPG for the Wii, with sort of an "after the end of the world" setting, although it's a bit different than the usual. The boy in the blue coat is the main character, Seto, and the silver haired girl is Ren, who he spends most of the game searching for. Not a lot of people played it, which is a shame, really. It seems to have had a slight rise in popularity recently, though, apparently because some rather popular YouTube gamer is playing it or something... Ah well, it'll be nice if more people like the game, it's so unknown! And it's such a nice game, too. A bit clunky in the controls and battle system, but the story, characters, and art are so lovely~ It's very emotional~ ;w; I feel that the gameplay is like games like Legend of Zelda and Kingdom Hearts (action RPG), while in terms of story and atmosphere, it is similar to things like the Tales Series (very "anime" type of story) and the RPG Maker game Ib (not as outright horror themed as Ib, but the kind of subtle, mysterious/spooky feeling is similar). So if you like those sorts of games, you should check out Fragile Dreams~ ^_^

Yeah, this is one of my very favorite games~ It's very cute, but also very sad ;w; (SO MANY FEELS~) You should totally play it if you get the chance~
I was actually a bit worried when I saw someone was making a walkthrough, since I didn't want anyone to like... Make it into a joke, since some of those YouTube gamers don't seem to take the games seriously enough. Plus, it's one of those games that someone who isn't familiar with or dislikes anime stuff wouldn't "get". But I checked out the videos and it seems the dude is handling the game fairly well~ I am way too overprotective of my favorite games hahahaha

Oh I know what you mean, though there are a few good ones who can like make a joke but be serious at the same time. xD I haven't watched the whole walkthrough, just bits my friend has decided to show me, since I plan on getting it, I don't want to spoil too much of it protect the precious babies

Haha, I don't know how any of that emulator stuff works XD (Apparently the only issue with a Wii emulator is that you can't hear the sounds that would come through the Wii Remote speaker, but that's all I know)

Yeah, it's not like it's a bad thing to make some jokes here and there (I joke about my fandoms a lot, after all XD), but it's just not cool to like... Constantly make fun of the game/story/characters, because then people won't take it seriously and just think the game itself is a joke. Like, as long as it's not too much in poor taste, or if it like... exaggerates things (like the whole "light/darkness" stuff in Kingdom Hearts), then that's one thing. But they should at least take the game seriously some of the time XD
OH YES, DON'T SPOIL IT FOR YOURSELF~ It's always more interesting when you don't know what happens next~

I've only managed to get a PlayStation one and a DS one :,D I had to use tutorials to help though. (ah well thats not to bad I guess...unless if you need it for some games)

I guess it depends on the person then. I know I joke about fandoms, or I try to do puns (I really like puns, I annoy my family with them xD) Probably depends on the fandom to...and the size of it :,D it all just depends
All I know is that Seto meets that Crow kid and he kisses him at one point (she really wanted me to see that)

The only issue with the Wii Remote speaker thing in Fragile Dreams is that there's a few points that some sounds are supposed to come through the speaker, and there's a part fairly early on that's apparently quite difficult if you can't hear them. Other than that, it's just a few minor sound effects. I think the game itself has a way to change it so those sounds will work like regular sound effects, but I don't know if that works with the emulator.
Haha, yes, puns are awesome~ And crossover jokes XD (Like for instance, that new Eevee evolution in the new Pokemon games looks kind of like Kyubey. BEING EEVEE IS SUFFERING) Being silly can be a good thing with fandoms~ (Otherwise, people end up being those "NO FUN ALLOWED" guys. >_>) I think it only becomes annoying when the jokes don't make sense or seem too insulting.
Aw, you already know about the Seto and Crow scene? >w< Oh well, that's not really a major thing by itself, it makes more sense in context. Besides, I had actually considered showing you that scene in case you needed more of a reason to play the game, anyway XD I just love seeing people's reactions to that, though~ XD

Its good bribery, you don't see shonen ai that much in translated games Haha yeah she showed it to me because Crow acts like the love child of Crow from PL and some OC I RP as (its funny but its kind of accurate :,D)

Well, if the emulator has an "options" menu like the actual game does, you should be able to change the sound settings from there. I think. Otherwise... Good luck XD
YEP. MAHOU SHOUJO EEVEE IT IS. MAKES PERFECT SENSE. It resembles Kyubey, and has Madoka's theme colors and ribbons... And now that I'm thinking about it, it kind of resembles Charlotte, as well. So it's Kyubey, a Magical Girl, and a Witch... WHAT DOES THIS IMPLY? O_O
Yep, Kingdom Hearts has a ton of fandom jokes LIGHT DARKNESS HEARTS.... As does Madoka because being Magical Girl is suffering.... And then there's the EVERYTHING IS PUZZLES in the Layton games... Yep, these jokes just write themselves~ XD
Hahaha, I figured you'd like it~ XD It's a cute scene in context, and hilarious out of context. It's more "feels" than "fan service" Though that doesn't stop me from kind-of shipping them. But then again, I ship Seto with like, almost every other character in the game. TRUST ME, HE'S JUST SO SHIPPABLE. Maybe it's because he's an adorable shota... XD
