Oh you mean the first batman animated series?
I understand where you might not want to take him too seriously there...
Most times the things happening are way too obvious, though still I love me some of those classics.
They made Batman a lot more serious over the years, even to developing depression in the movies etc.
If I saw more of the old Batman in my childhood, I'm sure I'd probably think the same.

I think the first animated series is obvious, but atmospheric, and characters like Two-Face and Mr. Freeze were realized quite artfully. But at any rate, my cartoon Batman owes more to Adam West's boneheaded version and Powdered Toastman. =B
He's a pop culture creation that has passed through many hands with dramatically different, and occasionally very personal, ideas of how to treat him. In my mind, that means he's ripe for a little mockery. IMO, Baman Piderman takes it to the next level.

Much appreciated, T! I've been busting my butt on line quality and I find that I like this method of scribbling in blue and tying down in 6B graphite.
