How do you get your beads to melt together so perfectly?

Time and practice. You have to get to know your iron, that helps a lot!

Nice work on it coming together so perfectly. I always liked beads as a little kid, but when it came to this craft I could never get them congruent enough to make something 8-bit.
Wow, that's a quarter... I can't imagine how big that is. Are the beads the size of lego bricks? I've seen some sprite creations out of legos that get pretty big.
In fact could it get any bigger? It would be interesting if you took a normal sprite of Rarity or somepony else and made each individual bit 2x2 or 3x3 of the same color bead block.

Nah, the beads themselves are pretty small. And I could totally make it bigger actually, but I don't have enough boards or beads at this point lol. Rarity's dimensions are around 17 x 10 inches. The perler heart ponies are actually the biggest ones I've done, but I've seen others who do bigger things, and I'd LOVE to get into that!

I see. Well, smaller usually means cuter anyway.
These are well done. I wouldn't pin them up against the wall. I think they would be much better made as ornaments that would hang down from the ceiling. The heart ponies do seem like the kind of thing you'd have ornaments out of anyway.

That's a good idea! I just did them this way because, since I'm selling them, I didn't want to put holes in any of them :3

That or you could come up with some way to add a special detachable hook that snaps into place with your creations.
