Description After reading an epic story of romance she gazes down at the crest necklace he gave her, remembering him fondly.

This is Christina Vespucci from Assassin's Creed series. Character belongs to Ubisoft. I did this as if Leonardo da Vinci had been commissioned to do her portrait or maybe he did one for Ezio, so the face and hands, maybe background done in his style. I researched Botticelli's paintings of Simonetta Vespucci, so her hair is something he may have created.

Her facial features in particular are styled after one of Leonardo da Vinci's sketch which can be viewed following to avoid any confusion of the uniqueness of her eyes, also very common in classical Italian Renaissance paintings of that time.

References used from in game, Leonardo da Vinci's and Botticelli's work research, watching The Borgias, my own photos for hands, places in Italy mostly from Gettyimages for towers, balcony railings, and tablecloths with elbows on them. Also dabbled into Italian Romance that would have been around at that time, so that's where the page is from.

Oooh very nice work! I love taking the culture and adding into the game and mixing the stories up. I also love that part about Ezio giving her the pendant. I thought I was the only one who remembered it XD

I'm so happy to hear other people actually get out there and do the research! Ubisoft slandered her, they really did. In any case, this is lovely. I love the style and the amazing details, but I think the shape of the eyes may be improved by making the upper lid curve slightly upwards. Even if they are closed it will make them seem more real. Also I think they may benefit from having slightly larger iris with a bit more light to them. ^-^ Oh, the way you drew the hands so softly is truly amazing!

Ah, I see what you were trying to achieve. I love this style dearly. I of course only gently suggest things. I am happy you shared your work. :3
