I used sparkle fur and metallic paint on the neck since pigeon's have iridescent feathers on their necks <3

not all my birds are named, a lot of them we call by their breed/what they look like (like old bird, dark green parakeet vs light green parakeet, gray hen, female spice finch, etc) but I have
1 cockatiel (Squirt)
9 zebra finch (Scruffy and George and their wives and kids)
2 spice finch
4 bantam chicken hens (Starla and Skydancer)
6 parakeets
around 30 pigeons (I need to count them, the numbers change as they freely breed and are free flying so some never come back - of them the named ones are Featherfoot, Featherfoot Jr, Pimp, Rabies)
and in the past I have had ducks, geese and quail.
... and I really want a pair of society finches, or something fancier if I can find affordable ones (I have a 5X2X3 foot finch cage and with 11 birds it looks empty)

Is it expensive to look after all the animals you do?
Or do you use the money from your commissions on them?^^

They cost a bit but we have figured out how to keep cost effective with our pets, we get by fine as long as unexpected vet bills don't pop up. I was raised having more than the average number of pets, having a half acre of property zoned as farm land in the middle of a urban area allows us to have so many.
In addition to the birds we have a small tortoise, a turtle in a pond with 3 huge gold fish, a small reef aquarium with 4 fish and hermit crabs and a shrimp, guinea pigs, dogs, and cats.
In the past we used to keep rabbits and I raised an iguana from teeny tiny to too huge for us to manage (once full grown he was just sooo big and was just so strong and during mating season he would get really aggressive... frankly some public awareness needs to go on when it comes to them as pets, they don't stay small).
