I would like to point out that even if someone creates adopts inspired by a game or movie or anything else out there, it doesn't mean they aren't worth anything. People buy adopts inspired or based on creatures and characters and worlds that aren't theirs all the time. It doesn't make the people who buy them fools, it simply means that they enjoy the art style and want to own the character and support the artist. An adopt doesn't have to be an original species to have worth and effort.
