Description
I wanted to take a break from my comic for today. Instead I drew a normal picture. Turns out I have an art block! D:< But I kind of handled it so this is nearly looking like I wanted it to look like! I only have problems in drawing legs at the moment, so please don't mention it.
This is a also a contest entry for ~xLifeInTechnicolor 's Contest!
For everyone who is wondering about this blue floating thing, read the story below:

Winter is when most animals are trying their best to survive and see an other spring.
Winter is when the freezing cold is everywhere and when darkness last longer than the light of day.
Winter is when the spiky claws of coldness are taking the lives of many creatures.

But for me winter is when the snow is laying over everything like a white blanket that sparkles like millions of tiny little diamonds in the light of the morning sun. When I'm walking and slowly breathing in the fresh cold morning air. I can't die and I like the cold, so there aren't many things I can dislike in winter. Liking the winter just comes natural to me as a soul seeress, so I watch how the tiny flakes of snow, that created this beautiful white blanket, are giving in when I step in it and create prints that show where I once went. I looked right where the sun was shining. It already rose an hour ago and now it shone in the cold, blue light I loved as much as the orange one of the twilight. I smiled and looked left again where I could see the forest with the few habitants that stayed for the winter. I didn't see more than I few birds, but I knew there were more. I sighed happily and closed my eyes. This would be a beautiful day, I could feel it.

"Why are you liking winter so much Meldy?"

I heard a voice asking from the left and opened my eyes. It was Ruri, a soul that followed me for a few days already. As a soul seeress I could notice her presence, but I also could help her to be reborn, which was probably the reason why she followed me.

"It's beautiful on days like this one. Furthermore I'm a soul seeress Ruri. Our bodies are as cold as ice and I don't need to eat anything, I just need water, so winter doesn't have any disadvantages for me."

The blue soul seemed to think about it.

"I can't really imagine that. Never eating anything and having a cold body. That would explain why I can't see your breath also when it's cold now."

"I was born like this. I don't really know anything else. Anyway Ruri, how old were you when you died and how long are you dead already? You didn't tell me yet."

The soul remained quiet. I already expected this reaction. Not many souls wanted to talk about the death of their body.

"I was a horse, I was eight years old and a had a foal. I don't know if my little girl survived, but she was defenitaly too young to die. That has been over a half year ago." Ruri said to my surprise.

"Being an equine myself I can somehow imagine how your life probably was like. I won't ask how you died, that is none of my buisness and I can only hope that your foal survived. If not, I hope an other soul seer found her soul and gave her a new body. But you know, most souls don't even want that. It's strange, really. Something I never understand. It's probably because it's a completly new life and they won't remember anything of their old life, and the souls are afraid of the new. Are you afraid to be reborn too Ruri?"

"I am, but that won't change the fact that you gonna put me into a new body, right?"

"That's right. When there is a need of a soul somewhere, I use the souls that are following me and give them a body again. That's the reason I exist at all, it's all I can do. But it is a lot already compared to what others are capable of doing."

"Did you ever think of doing something else than that? To start a family maybe? That would be a good thing to do with your life after my opinion."

I stopped and looked at the floating blue orb in front of me. She was a mare that had lived her life. A soul that spoke of the wisdom of many lives' experiences actually. I got it told a lot already by other souls, but it always made me thoughtful.

"I thought about it, but it's impossible. To start a family I mean. I can't get foals. I am completly different from mortals Ruri, I told you earlier. Other than this I have nothing I can do. I can't even call this a life actually. It's more of an existence. I'm an immortal, soulless creature. I'm a soul seeress. I can never have a life, because I'm like winter. Cold, soulless and beautiful. And that's why I like winter so much. The cold, beautiful and soulless winter with its death bringing claws."

Now you finally know what and who Meldy actually is! I never really drew a picture of her, so I'm glad I finally did! The story should be focused on winter and how Meldy is similar to it. I invented all this soul seer legend while I drew the picture and wrote the story! I'm so glad I did! It's a great thing I can bring into my comic. The smart people of you will now ask: "But what about Caily? Didn't she just kind of come back in her old body?" You're right. That happenes when your soul has enough magical power to be noticed and when it can touch things. When a soul kills a living creature it gets the magical power of this creature for itself. With enough magical power collected it can recreate the own body. It's as simple as that. And a soul can also change their form when it has much magical power. Caily for example looked like herself, just see-through, when she appeared dead in the comic.
