This method seems sooo much easier than my current method of enlarging the hole and then pushing the plug into the hole from the out side - which makes my fingers sore using the two needles 
Rather then PULLING it through from the inside to out

I didn't even know there was such a method where you attempt to push the plug through the hole from the outside... >.> its hard to imagine how that works, or what it would look like!
As much as I subscribe to this method, it still takes on average 10 hours to give a pony a full scalp of hair. x.x (That's what you have to do for characters with short spiky hair >.>) It's a lot like how the new g3.5 scalps are laid out, only... I add lots, lots, more...
(I had to do that for your Cloud custom you purchased. 
That's another reason I tend to keep my prices up high and don't haggle them any lower on transactions, is because those types of hair jobs can end up taking a bare minimum of 3 packages of pony hair... X_____X

It's the method I was taught by an old friend and it made sense at the time, but your's makes more still, no more sore pinkies WOOT!
Ouch! I understood why his price tag was so high in the fist place just by looking at him, I mean that amount of work that went into his clothes and sword alone let alone the hair too, look like it was a nightmare! Now I am amazed you didnt ask for more for him!

Yeah, I kept him at the original price I priced him at for the original commission inquiry... he was suppose to be commissioned with Aeris, but after I got him done, and the paint work on Aeris done, the commissioner had to back out of the transaction. I had them at a discounted price for the pair, so I kept him at his original price...
So yeah, I'm pairing Aeris off with Zack, instead. XD

Wow... I never knew how it was done O.O I was always left in the dark, lol! Awesome tutorial, it does INDEED help alot =3 (especially those thinking you can do it with the pony's head still attached ;-

Wow.....XD Re-hair a pony like a Egyptian? That's definitely a first. XDXDXD Ugh...brains.....every now and then I come across an extremely difficult pony head to re-hair; they have mounds of glue stuck to the hair plugs inside the head. THOSE are a MASSIVE pain to get out. X____X It's like through manufacturing, the glue gun just sort of "blew its load" inside the pony's head, and it dried up and the roots are in place....forever....
but I usually attack it with a pair of plyers. XDXDXD
