Oddly enough, Eliza was my second vote and Beowulf was my first, but no matter which way we cut it I think we both woke up happy people today!! I can't wait to try my hand with both of them!

Wow this has to be the coolest picture of Beowulf I've seen, i can't stop looking at it.
First of all, congratulations on capturing the personality of this character simply based on one sprite and a paragraph. It definitely is a good translation, and i can tell you had fun drawing that expression on his face. Speaking of his face, just look at all those sharp details especially on the lips and the cheeks, i think that area is the main focus of this piece. Not to say that the rest of it isn't worth notice, the anatomy is done very well here, he really does have the physique of a wrestler. Interesting technique on the fur, i can tell you used some multi tipped brushes which resulted in a fitting rough look. Some areas are unfinished however, like those black lines near his belt, also there's a spec of blue near his bicep that stands out like a dead pixel. Still though this is totally badass and i hope he wins this time around.
