(Manitoba's there with them, even though I had no room to draw him! ) Wouldn't you have reacted the same as Mari and Mike if someone suggested your grandma get with Chester? Heck, that they kiss?I feel like there's some war-related story on how Chester lost his eye... But we don't know for sure.
The creators weren't even nice enough to include at least an article on how Mike got all his personas... If you're wondering what Vaya! means, it's basically another way of saying "Wow!" in Spanish. Mari's grandma is going to throw some Spanish terms here and there, but I'll translate them in the description, so don't worry!
In a couple of more pages, Mari's grandma will say her name. It's not my grandma's real name, though.
Sooo~ What's got Chester's jaw hitting the ground like that? Don't worry, it's nothing serious! Otherwise, Mike and Mari wouldn't look that calm. It just involves what Mari's grandma's house looks like.
Anyways, thanks for the support! Sorry if this dragging on but once they go inside Mari's grandma's house, things will pick up a bit and the gang will get a lead on where to start understanding Mari's Dream World. Then when Chapter 2 starts, the adventure begins. >:3

I would like to agree with Mike and Mari and go with a hell no. While Mari's grandma/Chester is in my opinion better than Mari/Chester I still give a no ship. Anyways, I've aways thought that Chester was Mike's grandfather that died and as a coping mechanism Chester was born in his mind. On the account, MPD is caused by trauma at a young age. (What I understood from Wikipedia) But those creators could have made an article on it. Anyways, great job on those facial expressions especially the third panel with Mike and Mari.

I was actually thinking the same thing! I thought maybe Mike witnessed how his grandpa died, got traumatized, and made Chester to replace the memory that scarred him. (Yup; wikipedia was right about trauma.) You know, it still surprises me the creators didn't come clean about the Mike back story after such a long time.

XD And the look Mari and Mike gave each other in the next panel is just priceless! And you just made me excited for more! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait...
