"What do you think, what kind of foal will that be?" asked Martin excited as they were sitting on the high fence of the pasture and watched Smoking Gun and the Fearless Prince grazing beside eachother.

"Hopefully a filly." said Caitlin with a frown. "People are already talking..."
"Eh?" the jockey looked at her.
"I heard them talking in the stable, during Windspiels last race... They say someone cursed our stables... even that the Boss might traded the lifes of all our female racers for Dea's career and brought a curse on all other fillies now... superstition... Those racing people are so superstitious."
Martin said nothing, kept watching the pasture hiding his hands in the pocket of his training jacket stroking the rabbit's foot that was in the pocket.
