Very nice. It really stands out. I like the stark contrast of the composition, but the portrait still seems really soft. Even though it's not a Photoshop filter, did you still use painting software to do it? (I ask because it's listed under Digital Art) Also, I use Photoshop with my Wacom Tablet to paint. I am curious what software others use, especially when it turns out as well as yours... Thanks for posting.

I still paint digitally in Photoshop, but I'm not using a filter, like an "oil painting" filter. I paint over the original photographs.
