The day finally came...
Even with being a studious person, and sleepless nights it seemed to be unblieveable to receive the enrollment letter from such a prestigious Academy. It would mean years of high-quality education, with equestrian possibilities. Sounds like such a dream. Of course, one disadvantage would be the distance from home, but that was the hardest thing to convince Mrs. Marshal about. After all, Sky was her baby daughter, and it was quite a struggle to let the little child go.
But Damien – always being the best big bro – assumed his mom how he would go with her the first time, teaching her how flights work, and how to be more independent. He knew he would not have each weekend to fly out and get her home, so he knew that Sky was a fast learner, she would get used to it.

„I still cannot believe it!” Sky squeaked happily, kind of in a whispering tone – she did not want to cause any disrupt right as she arrived at her new place. She was still firmly clutching her sweet young Border Collie, Mr. Sprinkles, who eagerly licked her little owner’s face. Damien will take care of the young puppy while Sky is away at school but in the breaks, they would work hard to be the best team – Mr. Sprinkles undoubtedly will become a nice service dog, but he was still a youngster and enjoyed all the pampering (and playing around with the long-coated Dalmatian, Ash)
„Eyyup, this is one nice place, huh?” Damien agreed, leading Nachos next to his little owner.
„You think mom will be convinced enough when you tell her how cool this place is?” Sky looked at her big bro, with sparkling eyes. The young man just chuckled at this.
„She already knows it. She is so proud you are here, I am sure she gonna jump out of her skin when I tell more about it.” He smiled.

With a bit of silence, Sky stared in front of herself, before back at her big bro.
„Dami..?” She started, a bit unsure, already catching all the attention of her brother.
„Yes, sweetie?”
„You think I can manage? I know school work is one thing but with Nachos and such... Am I ready?” One thing about Sky was: that she knew she was smart – by the book wise. She was not that practical child, only started to be nervous about her practical abilities when she applied for the Academy. With her brother and the Azure staff around, it was one thing. But alone...? Her little mind raced, trying to figure out how „reality hit” was different in person than in planning. Damien scoffed, giving a reassuring hug to his little sister.
„You still have professors here, trainers, who would definitely give you answers if you have doubts. But you are a smart child, Sky. Your brain is like a sponge, and you practice a lot, spending a lot of time figuring things out. Take this as your next big challenge.” He smirked, taking a few steps forward.
„Leave those worries for a later time, you should try to enjoy your first day and get to know the people and the place better, huh? Come on, let’s get you settled.”
