Description The recent warm weather has got me longing for summertime~ T//u//T Aww but it's still over 2 months til my vacation starts...how will I survive that looooong~?

Anyways, my friend has been harassing me to draw more girls XD She said that I only have men in my gallery (not true! XD) and she wants to see more women Sooooo I dedicate this piece to her!
The girl in the drawing is one of my old OCs, Juli. ^^ Coincidentally, "Juli" in German means "July", so it's rather fitting for the theme

Looks like I'm slowly getting used to drawing female bodies again, lol! XD

Really? Oh but I love her shape! xD Like said it ain't to oversized (big bewbs and such) nor to thin, just a normal girls body, she looks so pretty!
I hardly draw girls to...lol xD but you do a good job at drawing them! <3

Yeah, I'd like some summer here, but it's still about 10-12 degress Celsius in Denmark during the day and 0-5 at night

Aww...well the temperature here at the moment isn't much different XD On sunny days it goes up over 20'C, but on cloudy days like today it won't go higher than 12-13'C I don't know how cold it gets at night though, haven't checked

I wanted to draw her without any shoes at all, but the toes turned out a bit weird, so I gave her flip-flops I've still gotta practice more, but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of drawing hands and feet ^^

lol, soooooon, sooooo sooooon

but thoe feet are still pretty sexy. Flip flops are nice, always a good choice, but hands and feet are just general pains in the ass. I love drawing feet now, hands are still kinda annoying. I can make little guides to try and help, if you want once you see fundamental rules, they fall into place.

Thanks ^^ I know, I've always had trouble with bare feet XD As for hands...there was a time I LOVED drawing them, now I don't really care, they can be hard at times, depending on the pose, but hey, I can always use my own as ref! But bare feet are still a nightmare (it's the toes! the TOES I tell you! )! Ooooh~ guides would be a great help! Thanks so much, Ben!

Hands are still bastards, they always trun out funny, but I love feet anyways (well, cute girl feet at least, lol) so naturally I love to draw them. There are some simple tricks I can give now, such as how feet are the size of the head, OR from the length of the elbow to the wrist! amazing, isn't it? but I will make a silly tutorial in a bit to help because yes, toes, while adorable, as assholes too

I'm okay with getting the proportions more or less right (we had this obsessed art teacher in grade school, she taught us as if we were all planning to attend the Academy of Arts in the future or something XD).
It's the feet themselves that are hard to draw...I won't even mention toes, those are the worst But I think with a bit of practice I should get used to them ^^

Awww thank you Oh, I'm sure you could, it's not that hard really! I try to let my hand move on it's own, making soft curvy lines with quick movements. If it's not quick then the lines lose their smoothness. Of course on the rough sketch I tend to do waaaaay more of them than needed, but I only do those which are most important when inking and leave out the rest so that the drawing is cleaner and less sketchy ^^
