Description
Here is Joshua Ortega (left) and myself (second from right) on location on the planet Sera with the Gears, researching our comic. Conditions are tough, and we had to go through some damn rigorous training before they would let us out of Jacinto! Managed to bag me a few Locus Drones, blew up a couple of Seeders too - man, those things are disgusting! But, you know, three or four days out there was enough for me.Managed to grab me a quick beer with Markus in 'The Rusty Nail', but he didn't say too much. Likes to stay low key, despite his celebrity. They say you shouldn't meet your heroes, but the guy was cool enough. No ego there, just a kind of brooding intensity.
Anyway, I shot a lot of ref for the comic, so it's damn close to the reality of being out there - kind of comics journalism I guess. Josh is staying out a little longer, hoping he can get down to the disused tunnels the Locust Hoard used to inhabit before...
Well, I 'll let him tell that.
I'll be at the launch of Gears 2 in Kingston-upon-Thames on Thursday at GAME store, at midnight. Drop by if you're in the area!

Well I drew the comic, and I created Jace and Barrick with Joshua Ortega, who wrote both the comic and the game, so yes! I am!

Insane graphics in that bloody game, I didn't understand that the intro movie was finished and you could actually start moving around.. the movie graphics looked the same as when you.. eh, play

i was here about to do a project that was scyfy and alot gears of wars ( style ) based ....
( for that countest )
And after i sow your other image i invented a character with your atributes for that project ...
its name is "leon prahs" ...
But anyway ...
My dam Colegue that was collaborating with me and as coauthor leaved me and gone vacations ...
So i had to quit from that scy fy futuristic gears wars meet final fantasy meet too human alot like project ....
And now ... i'm with 35 invited guys trying to do the deathlines into another projects to present instead of that one ....
...
But that one was very cool cause there were alot people known in ... the father of the guy that gone in vacations and deserted the production was the hero ...
And yu were the Antihero .. oposed to the guy at first in the story .. but then yu ended as its best friend ... Then yu deserted the guy with diferent visions issues ....
then i still didnt invent the rest ...
And i dont even have the time.
BUT....
Yo are right now Inside of one of our Graphic novels ... here ... ahhaahha..
Much because of that images like this become the inspiring sourçe for you in 750 years in the future like ....
When the earth was invaded by two confronting raçes .... and bla bla ......
But thats cute ...

That project is deserted for now ...
We dont have time as a production to make it cause it would need too much quality ...

So... we moved on..

When the project desertor come back ....
From vacations ...
maibe after midle of the next year we come back to that project ....

Very nice. The insertions are perfect. Everything matches: lighting, shadows, angles.
I had a thought of manipping myself on one of the other characters, but you guys work on this and are deserving. It just doesn't seem respectful for me to do that.
