I'm so glad you think so since I wanted this picture to be pretty emotional. I haven't written the meaning behind it in the description because I was lazy but basically, it's something like this: sometimes it's necessary to expand your world( that break in the ground is supposed to be kind of a door to a new, more beautiful world or something but that 'world' could also be understood as knowlege or something...) but that means taking risks as well(the canine in the picture is breaking too). Β Knowing something for example, can change your world/life but it can also hurt you and be hard to accept. I suck at explaining stuff but I hope you get the point anyway XD

I'm sure you don't ...it's really simple, you just reduce the opacity of the color layer(or simply don't use it and just shade the lineart without coloring it).

Yup, it is X3 It was supposed to be made of glass or something...that's why it's also a little bit broken at parts(see those cracks on the legs? :3)

Also, how do you do glows? I've tried many times before, but it always turns out like a coloured patch arouns the glowing area.

Depends a lot on what glows ^^ But usually I use an airbrush(a large one with low opacity) and color dodge or overlay layer mode. You have to be careful not to overdo it because otherwise it'll look as you mentioned, like a colored patch. That's why opacity must be low
