What do you mean? Yes there whites in Kenya but they aren’t Actually natively from there and they just moved from a white country or maybe their ancestors did. We’re talking about lions and animals here, they didn’t come from Europe to Kenya on a plane and just go like “ye let’s make this our new home”.
Those animals and lions were there in Kenya from ages back, meaning they are the equivalent to the native people of Kenya in human version. If native Kenyans are ALL black (and there’s no arguing that they aren’t unless they have some albino genes) then ALL tlk characters, even the non canon ones like Kopa and malka, they’re all black.
How weird would it look to have a black dude to be in the form of a grizzly bear but bears are actually in America and it should be a white dude in human form. It’s the same way. I cringe to death seeing a white simba as it’s just not the case. Yh there are Kenyans with lighter skin but they’re still not white skin at the end of the day and they’re just another shade of black.
Might sound racist but it’s just it. The story is in Kenya, the animals can’t have migrated from some place else, Conlusion : all tlk characters being black is COMPLETELY normal and the correct way to depict them as humans. Having them as white dudes in Morden day clothing looks rlly weird, weirder than you can make “a black dude as simba” to be.

No racism intended at all. I support equality in every way shape or form but when there’s people running around making WHITE simbas it’s kinda stupid. I get less annoyed if they make him look like the exact color scheme but I get annoyed when people try to make him look white or Caucasian when rlly he’s black and so is every other tlk character arguably no matter what. YES these are animals with their own colors and characteristics but if we humanize them to have our features then they would produce the same attributes and characteristics as the local humans of that animals habitat. If I humanized a puma it would look Caucasian. If I humanized a jaguar it would look Latino. If I humanized a panda it would look Chinese. If I humanized a lion it would be black. I don’t give a flying heck about the lions fur, it’s characteristics are now human and humans don’t have skin color based on their facial hair or hair color just like lions do. They adjust to that and they’re black just like the local type. You calling this racist is a misunderstanding and saying you get me is an easy way to make me feel better about my guilt of somehow according to you “being racist”.
I don’t care about the animals fur or skin. It’s the humans in its local habitat that are how it will look like.

Hi!! Sorry to come out of nowhere, but the reason why she was called transphobic was bc the character wasn't a male peacock: she was female and had her pronouns not only in the description, but on the deviation itself!
We also didn't "cyberbully" her: she was blocked by the individuals involved because she continued to harass my friend and others, commenting on her profile and such and continuing to misgender others involved!

Yes i understand that. I got cringed out cause Ariel is a Scandinavia character and Disney blackwashed her and gave the excuse to make it all in the carribic. I don't like white or blackwashing any kind and it's hypocritical to celebrate blackwashing and shitstorming whitewashing. Especially stupid is it, cause all live action disney had accurate looking main characters, even Mogli from the jungle book. But a red haired girl can't exist! Some people even said that red hair dosen't exist! And ye I’m black and I kinda found it really stupid that Disney just picked up a white Ariel and threw here aside and placed a black Ariel and were like “know your place you little shit” to the white Ariel. It’s kinda annoying blackwashing stuff. I understand some cases where you could do it for more black representation but if it’s characters that are iconic and are known for being white then WHY make them black. That’s so stupid. People would say I should feel proud Disney are giving my people more representation but I feel kinda pettied by it as if they feel sorry for us, I mean they treat black people like some sacred race that should be protected at all costs😂😂.

Yeah also it's very insulting as the black youtuber YoungRippa59 said. Like Disney wants so hard to be woke and include everybody, but black people they are not treatening right. I grew up with Disney and... from all disney Princess movies, Prince Phillip was the most interesting one out of all the males. And then Erik and Quasimodo. Gosh i remember. When i first saw him, i thought, this is a different design. I was a little kid. But then i heard his soft german voice and instantly fall for him. I was pissed that Esmeralda didn't choose him and made him cry...
And i was pissed that Disney gave hiiim a flat blonde girl instead. How hartless of them. They coud have ship them and show, that no matter how you look like, you can get the sexy girl.
Oh did you know that Esmeralda is the first female good character with green eyes? because the villains always had green eyes and even in medieval, green eyes where seen as witchcraft.
To the other comment. I never understood why Americans and Europeans are called white, while south Africans are called black. This names where given after black slaves where sold to foreign country and to cut the line. We don't life anymore like that and still this racist word is still used. Strange that black people don't freak out about being called black, but instead they freak out over Niger, even though, this is a neighbor country besides Nigeria. And Niger is latin meaning black, while alba is white.
If black people would freak out, we would get finally these word 'black' and 'white' banned from calling us that way. I prefer call people by their skin colours like brown, peach, golden or white and pink for Albino. Or even better, by their race.

My family in brazil are sometimes saying Negro to someone. Until now i never heard somebody freak out when a white brazilian are calling for a black dude and call him nigger. For example a white relative Jefferey: "Ey call this nigga here, he forgot something" or my mother: "When it was night and i go outside to the garden, i freaked out after seeing that nigga of a brother. He was so black, that he was constantly grinning, because without his white teeth, nobody would see him, peeing in the bush."
That from my mother was racist, but the racissm you hear are mostly harmless and for the laugh. But i can understand why some get freaket out.

Yeah, I understand what you mean, but black people aren't represented a lot in medias (and Disney), so I think it's important to draw these characters as black african people ^^ Moreover, their names are in Swahili, so my inspirations are Maasai tribes, who have black skins too. Also christians should be more represented in middle east and africa, cause the media don't show us, that in 50 countries, christians ara hunted, tortured, raped and killed by Islam and Muslims, just for being christians. But i hope that if a 3. world war happens, switzerland will still be neutral, which i actually don't believe. We had our armys in some war.
Anyways, christians did horrible things in the past, but we should not think of it as the only bad illness of the world. The Mayans, Buddhists, Muslim, Shintoists and native americans also did very horrible things, equal evil as christians. But the media are portraying only christians as the pure evil, just because it fits their agenda and pleases the radical Muslims.

Just go to africa and you will see only black people in the media. In japan you only see japanese people in media. In india you only see indian people. Black people are a lot more represented then you think.
But to your logic, white people are not represented in africa. They are minorities who are oppressed and hunted down just for being white. That means, black characters from africa should be blackwashed to represent more white people. Same goes with south Korea who should represent more black people and north america represent more ginger, since Disney are blackwashing all ginger characters with black africans, knowing pretty well, that ginger are only 2% of the global population. But to the lefts logic, cause ginger are mostly white, they dosen't count as endangered minority.
