If I were 2D there, I would turn the safety on and through it to Noodle. I would probably NOT point it at Noodle, but for the sake of thought, you might just want to to trick the machine in to thinking you are going to shoot her... Heaven forbid...

In a story that I was putting together I have it where Noodle shoots the Cyborg and it blew up, taking a good part of the island with it. I guess you could have it where Russell grabs the cyborg and squeezes it until the head explodes off, begins to leak oil, starts sparking, and the rest of the cyborg explodes... (can you tell I really hate machines and imitations?)
