actually i drew this one on paper and then i scanned it and manipulated it on photoshop with a smoothing brush. backround didn't look good, so i decided to leave it like this. hope you guys like it <3Related content

ehm... ok i'll try, tho i really don't know how, since my version is in italian, and not the ordinary photoshop cs. ok, in my version the tool is shaped like a finger, and you just have to regolate the pressure, then you pass it on the drawn lines to smudge them and blend the colors together. i really don't know how to explain it better than this, sorry

I love the poses of the tails, and the design of the mermaids - all the folds between the fingers and the fins. The movement of the hair is also very beautiful, it does look like it's moving in water

You have just about nailed the exotic look I love in mermaids here!! I think they look fantastic with webbed fingers...especially to the fingertips. The membranes attaching their arms to their upper torsos look just great, too! And, I love the frilly fin that runs down the length of the sides of their tails. These girls are beautiful as well!! I love the pose of the upper center one showing the backside of her tail! I REALLY hope to see more of these aquatic beauties!!!

Great work! You can try a hard edge brush at a few places to increase the sense of volume even more

Haha, yeah, legs can be really difficult to draw. But I'm still impressed, because everything looks awesome on them! I sometimes draw something and I just want to throw it away, bacause it isn't good enough

i lost count of how many times that happens to me, thank god now i have a wacom tablet, because if i kept doing it on paper, i would be one of the major cause of deforestation ;D

Well, I still love drawing on paper more than one the computer. And I really try to draw something or finish a drawing I already was working on. This way I make sure I don't waste too much paper
