This is a detail from an exhibit of the Green River Formation lake fauna at the Fossil Butte National Monument in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Cockerellites (formerly Priscacara) liops was a member of the perch family. It lived during the Eocene of North America. It was a about 15 cm long.
