I would have liked the whole face to be a tiny bit sharper, though, to stand more out from the blurred wall behind. I like the idea of a short DOF here, but maybe it's a little to short?

ok, when i first saw this on a friends page, i was like, "...wow...." Its VERY sharp, the wiskers stand out alot to me, but in that since, a very very good short depth photo...im wondering your appature you used. Its soooo good, ill make it go on my fav. list....damn, its a tromendous photo.

I used my Olympus C-5050 for this (as with everything else). He was a darling and posed for a lot of photos

What a funny angle for him to be looking in, straight up. Nice contrast in your black and white. The cat makes for a nice monochrome subject because of the different fur colors.
