We have a very friendly stray that lives in our backyard that we named Tom, Thomas for....well...long I guess...Looks almost identical, except Thomas has only one eye....

I've got a stray called Thomas too. He has been living here for 6 months now, found him as a mistreated kitty.

Awsome! Ours was living in the backyard of the house we bought...the lady had been feeding him for years...we have kind of adopted him now...we would bring him in the house, but we have no idea what kind of diseases he has, and he has claws...our other two cats we adopted from the pound and dont have claws....

Declawing... now that is something I don't really get. All my 6 indoor cats has their claws. It's not legal to remove them in Norway anyway.
Take the poor thing to the vet?

We would never declaw our cats...Its legal in America..We got them from the pound, we think they were an older womans...and they were declawed when we got them....We would take Thomas to the vet, but he has been a stray all his life, and we know the vet would most likely say we would/should put him down...and I dont think we could get him in a carrier to get him to a vet...he isnt always very trusting of people

Poor Thomas, don't take him to the crazy vet. You shouldn't be able put any animal down just like that =/
Getting cats in to carriers are... sometimes hurtfull to yourself

O yes...Takes 3 people to get each of my cats into their respective carriers....One once broke out of the carrier....it was pretty scary...

With some cats it is, but others try to kill you when you put them in there. I've got one of those killers

i dont know- they have to work to lay on things you need, like homework or books...so maybe they just do like an 8pm-9pm job; it just doesnt seem like they work but that one day of the year.
