This particular one didn't take me that long actually, about an hour, two at the max. The most difficult part for me was getting the shape and proportions of the horse correct.

The Colossus itself, because it doesn't have much detail, was quite simple. I did the rough outline and then smudged things where I needed it.

I really like how sharp the ground is but you have just enough of it so it doesn't over power the colossus

I was going to paint just the colossus but I wanted to give it a sense of scale and power so I added that last.
