You have to break down the shyness as a defense mechanism. What does being shy protect you from?

I always stare people directly in the eyes when I talk to them no matter who they are. I always smile, laugh whenever I want & make jokes with little regard for the humor of others (usually just to make myself laugh). I can become good friends with someone instantly if they are on the wavelength. Usually people are shy around /me/! I'm very intimidating apparently!!! lol

Yeah, what does it protect you from? Adenylyl Cyclase usually. That embarrasing red face, thought-shock, nervy jitters. But all of that stems from past events, though I've looked at them, still, can't pinpoint it to reshape the behaviour. It's such a stroooong hormone response.

Your lucky to be able to do that. I only tell jokes so I can laugh, too, stuff everyone else. That was until a girl I liked in high-school said that I did... That's like dividning by zero in my own head. Ie: I make everyone else laugh becuase I laugh so much. I just shut up after that. (It started the introspection cycle)

Yeah, making instant friends was a trait of mine too, then I moved to the big bad, cold city. People are just not the same as small towns and country. You know what, one of my friends said I intimidate others too, height, style, looks + -> INTJ brain. However, when I went back to my home state, everything shifted back to the positive.... I think fate is telling me something...
