This is going to sound really complicated, but it isn't... I made three master claws (a long one for the first two fingers, a shorter one for the other two fingers, and a curly thumb one) from Wonderflex + cord and a jewel glued on for the detail. I then moulded them in silicon, and then cast the entire set out of heavy-duty polyurethane. Then, I just painted them all up with model acrylic.

The turquoise-ish fabric you used on Yi's sleeves is perfect for a design I wanted to use. I don't even know what those things are called. Seals? Emblems? I've been searching for any brocade/satin type of fabric with the circle emblems on it for some time. Where on earth did you find yours? The circle things are straight and precise, and all I've been finding is fail fabric. ;D;

I have a Brother Innovis (I'm not sure what model) embroidery machine, and it's fantastic! Brother have the BEST customer service. The machine comes with an awesome program called PE Lite (it's the cut down version of PE Design, which no one can afford X_x)... which basically turns the embroidery machine into a printer.

I recently bought some purple and green Brocade from gotfabric.

Since I think it's the same fabric you have on Yi, I've got a question.
The fabric looks purple in daylight outside, but in my room (under artificial lighting) the fabric looks way too pink to be purple.
I was wondering if the fabric you have did this as well, or if I got bummed over with the wrong color. o.O
